Adventure Cambodia:
Discovering
Cambodia by motorbike
Motorbiking across Cambodia -
seems like everybody’s getting into the act now. A whole
guidebook was published recently geared towards this activity
(and the assumption you have an odometer that works - last we
checked there were only four motorbikes in Cambodia with this
function - the author of the book, a Phnom Penh expat who likes
counting down from eleven, some Khmer guy who thinks his bike
goes faster with a working odometer, and yours truly).
A motorbike really is a great
way to get around the country given the appalling state of many
of Cambodia’s roads (though to somebody’s credit, many are
getting some kind of upgrade now) and contrary to what one may
assume, you do not have to be an experienced rider to navigate
most of these roads.

Motorbikes: We use Honda Baja's 250cc. The
Honda Baja is a very robust off road bike. It has the
perfect power/weight ratio for the conditions in
Cambodia. We have over 10 well-maintained bikes, all our
own, which are included in your package price. These
bikes are kept in top condition for the bumpy roads
ahead. This includes 2 XR 250cc's. 1 CRM 2 stroke and a
250cc Degree, lower to the ground for learners.
Four Wheel Drive: We use powerful
air-conditioned 4WD vehicles which are ideally suited to
the mostly dirt roads that we travel on. Our jeep is
open and without air conditioning, prices vary according
to the vehicle.
Minibus:
For groups in and around Siem Reap, we provide transport
by minibus. We have a larger coach for those requesting
transport from Poipet to Siem Reap, usually a three-hour
journey. Please e-mail us for details.
